Ok, I'm going to pretend not to be jealous. Dolly birds in Derby city centre tried to haul me into the o2 store to show me the iPhone yesterday. I resisted: I don't need any more gadget lust in my life.

On a more serious note, if their trying to drag people off the street to buy the phone then perhaps the launch wasn't quite as big as they thought.

I got mine at around 19:00 from Carphone Warehouse in Nottingham. They had 15 staff available to serve the 3 of us that were in.
